Nothing better to motivate me than to have the pleasant threat of a visitor to my home to get me to clean my house like I should every day. Not that I’m a pig or anything. But I’m a single dad with a 4-year-old girl and a budding teen boy. Enough said?
I love having visitors; I just don’t have them very often. But when I know someone is coming over, even ‘maybe’ coming over, I get on a whirlwind and ride it out until the house is neat and clean.
It could be just a relative, or the cable guy or potentially that ‘someone special’ that will light a fire under me. I love it! They should bottle that kind of stimulus.
Related question: why can’t they make a device that sucks all the dust out of your home before it hits the surfaces in our homes? Hmmm … I get you there’s no dust sitting on the knick-knacks on the space station.
