We the People are the Constitution
At what point did people forget that our Constitution is what is holding America together? It’s not the President that is protecting us, Bush will be gone someday (thank goodness) but the Constitution is what has been keeping us glued together, it will protect us from each other, it will protect us from our Government. A government, if you remember, is supposed to be ‘of the people’ ‘by the people’ ‘for the people’. All People! Not just the NeoCronies, the Biblical Self-righteous Politica-preachers with the congregation in their wallets, the slimy power-hungry CEO’s (criminal executive officers) and their troll-like lobbyists. It is not a Government promised to ANY party. It is NOT a government preordained to serve one branch. All the branches are supposed be the check and balance of the other, not the protectorate, the fearful pawns, or robed puppet court of the other.
Do me a big favor. Go read the Constitution from “We the People … to … no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States” READ it … it defines you as a citizen, it protects you, it empowers you. It holds us all together.
Then write, fax, email, visit … your school board, city council, state congress, governor, U.S. Representative (yea, they’re supposed to ‘represent’ you, forget huh?) Senators, and yes send a note to George (yes, call him by his first name, he’s your employee btw). Ask them all … “Hey, do you know what’s going on? Hey, what does Article II of the Constitution say? … What? You don’t’ know? … have you read this thing? It’s kind of neat … and oh, you’re mentioned all the time in it.. Kind of your employee manual … OH, yea … AND IT’S the LAW! “

ReplyDeleteAs far as Bush having the NSA monitor terrorist-related activities all pro-terrorist protective babble is overridden with the oath of his office and position as Commander-In-Chief.
Since Clinton allowed the 9/11 terrorist to train in the USA and the attack itself, there have been no further attacks. If/when a liberal gets in as Pres. then attacks will surely resume.
personally, I hope against all that's is holy that we never had a liberal or a conservative in the whitehouse again. Someone that is right down the middle! Of course I just hit my head recently ... brain damage you know.
