Feel that? And my mornings:

I have, all day, felt like there is some kind of impending … not doom, but … sudden change. Something I will be forced to conform to, something new and maybe not better … at least at the beginning. I felt it at work only, so I’m thinking it has something to do with work. Then my horoscope mentioned something about something horrible would happen if I start to ‘meddle’. What’s that mean? So, I'm feeling the impending occupational gloom, and I shouldn’t do anything about it … just ride it out. How’s that for trying to outrun the black clouds?
I think the kids; Kitten and I are trying to fight off colds. When I’m in the cold defense mode, I become very grumpy. I try not to, honestly. It’s a conscious effort to not rip heads off people when they innocently cross my path. So I try to be quiet and a little antisocial.

Here’s my morning routine, every weekday….
5:00 AM … alarm goes off – hit snooze bar
5:09 AM … alarm goes off – hit snooze bar
5:18 AM … alarm goes off – hit snooze bar
… etc. etc..
5:36 AM … alarm goes off – I turn off alarm and crawl out of bed, put my glasses on, and head for the can to dump the tank.
5:45 AM … go downstairs, pour some tomato juice, fill a bowl with cottage cheese. I know, lame … and no coffee yet.
5:50 AM … turn on local news, watch banter … finish ‘breakfast’
6:00 AM … jump in shower
6:20 AM … jump out of shower, get dressed.
6:30 AM … make ‘First Call’ on the kids’ rooms.
6:45 AM … poke my son with a stick to wake up, pick my daughter up and drop her on my bed.
6:50 AM … help daughter get dressed
7:00 AM … take the ‘family’ downstairs to watch some Wiggles, get shoes on, brush hair.
7:15 AM … kick son out the door to walk to school. “eats breakfast at school” Load daughter in car, dive to day care.
7:20 AM … drop daughter off at daycare “eats breakfast at school”
7:45 AM … show up to work, have my first cup of coffee
8:00 AM … start buying gloves.

Every weekday … exactly like that, of course in about 6 or 7 months this will all be turned around … new family, new digs, new routine.
