The Toxoplasma gondii made me do it!

Just when you thought the world was safe from suicidal grasshoppers and urine fearless rats, scientists have discovered what science fiction writers have known all along: We Are Who Infects Us.
Ever since that scene in “Star Trek: Wrath of Khan” where they put that grub with the super-sized mandibles into Chekov’s ear, I’ve been squeamish about parasites inside my body, in anybody’s body. NOW … I learn there are little bugs that control the mind of their hosts? Eee-Gads man!
… Now some behaviors at work make more and more sense. Anticommonsensus Businitii … Yep that is what I’m guessing has crawled into their heads … taking the scenic colon route … I imagine. JUST KIDDING … (if you sign my checks)

As I was reading this article “Mind Control by Parasites” … I also discovered this really cool site: Technovelgy.com
