Guess what I saw flying in the sky on my way home from work? No really guess. WRONG! I spied a Gyrocopter whirly-giggin’ over the skies of Keizer, circling over the freeway. Odd site.
A lot of drivers looking up with that “what in the world” look on their face.
I’m a big ol’ fan of anything that flies. I use to be a freakin’ aircraft nerd as a teen. I knew/know about gyrocopter or autocopters. They’re kind of an obnoxious self-propelled kite.
The famous memory I have from them is from that Mad Max movie, with that crazy dude that flew over the outback in that broken down POS gyrocopter. Mad Max.. Ah, shouldn’t we of had that apocalypse thing yet? Where’s the post-apocalyptic wasteland we were promised. Oh wait, That’s right … still could come, Iran & N. Korea.. THAT’S RIGHT … forgot about that.
