Another day at home, and my daughter is making a comeback. Fever is still there but under control, no vomit, she’s talking, moving … still won’t eat. I’m working on that last issue.
Meanwhile, as many a guy knows, when you make a horrible beard/moustache trimmer error, the best thing to do is shave it clean and start over. So bye bye brushy little ‘stache! I look twelve. Oh well. My daughter didn’t even notice. Text’d my wonderful Kitten with the news, her reply: “Why did you DO that? :)” … Had to admit to the trimming error.
I think this will be my last day of sick-o duty; she looks good enough for school by tomorrow. I probably have a pile of work on my desk. But… "family first", as the boss said.
