The very sad story of Ludwig is not a cheerful movie by any means. However, it is very beautiful. The soundtrack is all Beethoven. The artwork, costuming and cinematography, is amazing. Some nice plot twists, a little mystery to solve. Which I admit had suspected that I figured out early in the movie.
A very good ‘tortured artist’ story.
Movie got 7 out of 10 stars on IMBD
And 3 ½ stars out of 5 with Netflix
I’d rate it about the same.
It bummed me out though … I had to race home to get the happy pills.
