Black Friday. Remembered.

I worked retail for almost 8 years. I remember that day after Thanksgiving whirlwind. I remember the frantic shoppers, craziness. It was fun, like bungee jumping is fun I suppose.


These days I rest on Black Friday. I wake up leisurely; I drink a cup of coffee or two. I pick at some turkey meat, eat some left over pie for breakfast. Aaaahhh …. Sweet times.
Unfortunately my wife had to work today. You’d think with her working for the government the unions would have figured to get this day off too. Oh well.


We have lots of work to do this weekend. We plan on shifting everyone over to his or her new rooms since the remodel is over. Finally.
