I understand our dilemma with the technology available in our rural area. But without a solution we become less of a viable work force to handle even the slightest growth.
I’m concerned about my personal success as well as the company’s.
If broader bandwidth cannot be achievable I suggest we sit down and brainstorm some options. Perhaps investigate how other businesses handle a similar situation.
- Relieve some load on the system by offering more telecommuting options.
- Re-locate offices to where the technology already exists.
- Re-evaluate the benefits of ‘terminal services’ where the connection is below a useful function
We’ve made great investments in technology with the new server and broadband into the Metropolis location. We’ve made great investment into promoting web sites like goHomedawg.com. Cheers to all involved.
We’ve discussed the ‘future’, with shiny new websites for our customers for the other companies. However, I do not see this manageable from Wankers Corner with our current technology. This will be a roadblock to my vision of personal success within the time-frame I want it to be achieved. The faith in this ‘future’ is the carrot that keeps me going, but is growing futile as the stick becomes longer and too heavy to bear.
