I'm so handy! I actually put up track lighting in our new home office. I'm dusty. I played with electricity. The finished work looks as good as professional would do it. Funny thing is we payed a lot of money for some professionals to put up lighting on the new addition. I could have done it all myself ... RIGHT.
My wife did some fine painting in the room too today. She painted it "horseradish" ... just a fancy name for white, but now I can tell people "no, actually the color is horseradish, not white. We would NEVER paint a room white".
