I’m not too sure yet about them, I haven’t really tried to read intensely with them yet. Things are still kind of swimming around in my vision right now. The doctor, explaining to me how the eyes don’t see, it’s the brain that sees, tells me that it will take a few weeks for the brain to learn how to see through the new lenses. They definitely aren’t as bad as I had imagined. I think my brain will figure them out soon.

In other news; the week of working alone is over. My co-worker/supervisor was out bowling for a week and was again in charge of the operation as I had been for 5 years before him. It was so nice and quiet and everything got done and correctly without any stress. His vacation was my vacation.

Now, I must celebrate the weekend with a butt-load of homework. My learning team has shot out of the gates ahead of me and I’m am constantly trying to catch up. It’s difficult when you take a course to learn about the subject and the class fills up with people who obviously knows everything already and just needs the course for the degree. When that happens the new comer to the topic always suffers. But that’s life actually. There’s always going to be people over qualified at tasks they are doing and gloating over the ease. What kind of life challenge is that? You’re not an expert, you’re a skater. Once you’ve become an expert just move on and let someone else learn the job. Go out and learn something new, quit underachieving at my expense. Whaaaa … I whine so.
