I have gained weight over the last couple years. Weight I had lost before I got married. Of course when you get married you put on a little more heft because of all the 'good life'. Well, the good life is far from over but the weight has to go. I started my special diet almost two weeks ago and I am proud to say all is going well and I've lost 13 lbs.; about a pound a day. My goal is to reach 199 lbs by Sept. 1st.
It's not so much as a crash diet as it is a 180 degree behavior diet. I avoid as much carbs as possible, eat small healthy snacks all day, have some protein in the mornings and never eat anything after 9 p.m.. I also watch my serving sizes at dinner and GET UP when I'm done. If I stay and chat with the family I will be tempted to keep filling my plate. Sorry folks, I'll see ya in the living room, gotta go! It's sort of like that first week of the South Beach Diet, but less complicated. After I hit my goal I will alter my diet to a more reasonable version of this current one and just be aware of my eating more often.
