Disappointed
We all have to sacrifice sometimes. We all have to take one from the team, the company or the family. As a member of a group, by definition you look out for the best interests of the group. As soon as you become selfish, self-serving and place your needs above the needs of group you risk damaging the group. I've been very tolerant of group members in the past while they try to find identity among the crowd, often I have encouraged it. But when such self value degrades another member or worse, takes advantage of their kindness and their sacrifice, I lose interest in keeping the selfish one within the group. But I will keep them in because I can't let my own selfish disappointment define the group either. It has to come from within; I cannot make someone selfless, or sacrificing. Much of the world walks around with just their ego intact, but let the conscious die. It just is a little hard to deal with one it's one of your own.
