We're doing a little painting in the kitchen. When I mean "we", I mean my wife is with a little help from my daughter. We had talked about going bold, with some rich reds and browns and doing some kind of texture technique on the walls that had once had wallpaper. The first coat is finished. The red looks great, and I'm sure the texture 'thing' will look awesome. However, I don't know about the brown. It either looks like a wall of chocolate or leather. It may grow on me, or we may want to paint over that wall. Of course that final decision will be up to my wife.
