"This is bigger than one election, or one justice, or one issue. It’s about the most fundamental underpinnings of our democracy, and what our country is going to look like for decades. Supreme Court decisions aren’t easily overturnable, and the calls that get made now are going to be with us for the duration of our lifetimes. Many of them will be around for all of our children’s lifetimes, too." --- read moreIt's more than just a president, it's also the supreme court and other federal judges that are in the balance here. I want the court to be filled with thinking judges, that understand the Constitution and have the rights of all citizen placed above the desires of a few. I wouldn't say I didn't want more conservative judges, that's not the problem. I don't want right wing fringe judges, that think party first, power first, money first, or religion first over the rights of all citizens, regardless of gender, race, or bank account size. I feel women have been given the short end of the stick for 200+ years in this country. Just because you place a 'woman' on your ticket doesn't mean you are a champion of women's rights. It just makes you a panderer.
