D minus 2 : Taxes

Obama : Rich people get their sweet Bush tax cut taken away, everyone else gets a take break.

McCain: Rich people get to keep their sweet Bush tax cut, everyone else taxes remain the same.

But really, the truth is the President doesn't get to tax or cut taxes at all. I am sure it is the congress that collectively decides that.

Sure, the administration can suggest and even veto, but really … it will be the most Democrat filled congress in a while. It will really be up to them.

I don't make anywhere near $250, 000 or $200,000 dollars. I am no rich man. I'm not senator's / admiral's son.

95% of Americans really don't need to worry about taxes. There I said it, taxes are fair. Pay them. Or get out of the country. Freeloader!

How's that for some tasty opinion?

Disclaimer: I don't have any disgruntled memories of Departments of Revenue past, in fact I have actually worked at the Oregon Dept. Revenue. I love taxes. They pay for things like bridges that fall down and unpopular elitist foreign wars. I think we need to tax tea again! Love love love those taxes
