Yep, I spelled that correctly. I had seen the trailer for this movie when arranging the movies on my Netflix queue. I had a gut feeling that it was a good pick. I put it on the top of the list and it was in the mailbox in a couple days. I had been holding it for the weekend. My wife and daughter sat and watched it with me.
It is a story of two boys from different worlds brought together by 12-year-old imagination. Set in what looks like a small town in England in the 80's, the music was familiar to me and the wife, not so much with the 7-year old daughter. The Cure, Souxie and the Banshees played in the background as we watched the adventure develop between a troublesome young delinquent film maker and his new religiously secluded friend with the over active imagination.
Brought to us by the guys who put The Hitchhiker's Guide to Galaxy on the big screen. Everyone should move this movie to the top of their 'to watch' list. It is extremely funny and very sweet. It's rated PG-13 because of mild violence and very mild British-style swearing.
