From Tuesday, I've been ill. A cough turned into a wheeze, a wheeze turned into headache, a headache turned into a fever. And well it went downhill from there. Even now after three days, I don't feel 100% well. Whatever settler handed me that disease infected army blanket I want to thank you. Fortunately, I don't think the tribe has been infected.
It probably came a good time, which I will explain later in another post as soon as I get some more information to report.
Therefore, I keep eatin' the chicken soup and chuggin' the orange juice and getting plenty of rest when I'm not coughing. Wish me luck.
Oh, what the heck … That job I interviewed for last week, well I got it. Yep start the beginning of March. I will be coding vehicle crashes from accident reports and entering the data into a hug(e) database that the state of Oregon maintains. Yes, a government job - I know! Therefore, in addition to my wife's awesome state benefits I will be doubling that. Which I think means all our insurance co-pays disappear. I also get a slew of paid holidays and a better vacation package. There's a bunch of other things I'm sure, I just don't know what they are yet. The best thing is it's a job that isn't too directly affected by the economy. At least not as much, I fear my current job is. More details on another post, when as I said I'll get more information to share.
