Brunch, Spaghetti and Watermelon: Go Boom!

Today we had a nice (and filling) brunch with the In-Laws, my wife, daughter, step daughters, step daughter’s waffles_eggsbenhusband, my grandson, my wife’s ex-husband, his wife, their daughter, a partridge and a pear tree, which I ate.  No, I didn’t.  I ate everything else however.  I had an omelet, a cheese plate with cheese Danish, then I had waffles with berries, and Eggs Benedict, then a croissant and chicken with wild rice soup, along with two cups of coffee and topped of with a nice mimosa.

mimosa

I then rolled down the hill from Orchards Heights Winery brunch service into the Willamette River where children and dogs tried to push me back into the water all Whale Rider style.

Later, after I made it down stream to Keizer – after taking a few hours to digest THAT meal, my bride made some fresh home-made spaghetti with garden fresh marinara sauce. NOM! …

… and we just got back from the annual neighborhood watermelon social.  Oh my word.  I may burst at the seams.
