Under Some Weather

Sick days are not fun.  They are not fun even when a person is only slightly sick.  For Example…
The last two days I’ve been fighting off what seems like the beginning of a head cold.  I hate head colds.  My symptoms being a pounding headache, scratching throat, night time coughing fits, and sniffles.  There’s that.
Then  there’s my blues.  Depression.  Having a “low” day and fighting off a cold is a perpetual motion machine of misery.  Sleep seems to be the best remedy for both right now.
With that … I am crawling back under the covers.
“...Depression is not sobbing and crying and giving vent, it is plain and simple reduction of feeling...People who keep stiff upper lips find that it's damn hard to smile.”  - Judith Guest
