sometimes you need a change of scenery

After finding out that my last blog template didn’t work with the latest version of MS Internet Explorer I decided to change the blog a bit.

Blogger has some nice template options now and the designer program allows a user to tweak many of the options including background, layout, colors etc.

This background art was available through the blogger designer and it looks like they got it from iStockphoto. It reminds me of that Polyphonic Spree artwork. 

After changing the template I remembered that all my analytics tags were of course removed from the html.  d’oh.  So I spent another 45 minutes registering and posting script into the code to get my woopra and google analytics working again. 

The next couple days I will have to update my meta tags also, since that too was deleted with the template update.  It’s all good practice, right?
